Ellie’s practice is led by her client-centred and strengths-based approach to care. She is an empathetic and friendly psychologist motivated by a passion to support people to identify and move towards their therapeutic goals. She believes that a space free of judgement and built on collaboration is essential to creating a safe and effective therapeutic environment.   

Ellie has experience working with individuals and groups across the lifespan having worked with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a broad range of mental health challenges across both public and not for profit settings. She has also worked in the forensic space, supporting men in the prison system to reduce their risk of recidivism and build healthier lives. She has a particular interest in working with people exploring the intersections of identity, sexuality and mental health.  

Ellie integrates a range of evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), the Unified Protocol for Emotional Disorders, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and incorporates elements of Schema Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, into her therapeutic approach.
